D-HAENE STUDIO is a Brooklyn-based ceramic and design studio created by artist Jane D’Haene. Built by hand, her raw, minimalist forms take inspiration from traditional Korean pottery, reimagined through a contemporary lens. Charged with a modern vocabulary, these stoneware sculptural vessels embody a nimble use of color, unexpected texture, and experimental glaze, channeling natural confidence through immediate, interpretive detail.
The unconventional functional vessel design, Mizutama, cuts a striking silhouette in any space. Its abstract, experimental surface is grounded in expressive, terrain-like texture and rough-hewn detail, as tendrils of glazed finish invite movement and a dynamic interplay of light upon the surface. A singular work of art that serves to ground any interior with a sense of natural wonder.
Hand-built in clay and glazed both inside and out, pieces are one of a kind. Slight variations will occur.
